an insatiable species of ant, their lust for protein and ability to form mega-colonies make them a fierce species. Given the common name “meat ant” they are well known for their ability to devour farmers dead livestock right down to the bone.

these ants are claustral so the founding stage is standard with a basic tube setup. but once the colony starts and they require a tubs and tubes setup things escalate, these ants are capable of growing into the hundreds, and then thousands very quickly, they are very active and require a lot of protein to sustain endless brood. these ants should only be attempted by advanced keepers.
