A very unique and interesting genus of ant, Opisthopsis are known for their peculiar movement, often described as “jittery” or as described on the gamergate website, it is as if you are watching them at 10 frames a second, they also have almost 360 range of vision.

these are a beginner-friendly and rewarding claustral species of ant, which for the founding stage and up until about 10-15 workers can thrive in a basic tube setup.
